Mark Gatterdam
Furniture Designer/Craftsman
I have been in the furniture industry for over 35 years professionally. Currently, I am a partner in Hardwood Artisans, a Washington D.C. based group making furniture to order. In recent years I have focused on the design aspects of furniture making, but I keep myself connected to the actual craft as well.
I have been committed to a Medical Missionary Haiti cause for four years, and am in the early beginnings of developing a trade school.
I began this web site to discuss my projects, sharing with people the sometimes odd and always unique problems I sort through every day, and the interesting people I am fortunate enough to meet in my journey.
